Welcome to Young Adult Nick Caden (via Author Eddie Jones)

Welcome To Nick (and Eddie!).

Using a young person's viewpoint, Eddie captures their doubts, questions, and suspicions of what is real and what is not. In today's world, plenty of young people are searching for faith of some sort, for answers.

We're excited to read about this opportunity for writers who want to learn about writing for the young adult age group. Read on to find out what makes Nick tick and some of his history and a bit about what Nick's adventures are about...you won't be disappointed!

Some readers have asked the guy who helps me write my stories (Mr. Jones) if I’m a Christian. I doubt that I am. I’m in my teens, which means I sort of question everything. Especially people who say they know for sure something is true.

I know Mom and Dad aren’t Christians. Neither is my sister. But then again, a lot of the people I meet who say they are Christians don’t act like it. They’re mean or rude or don’t do hardly any of the things the Bible says you’re supposed to do, like treat your neighbor like you want to be treated or (and this is a big one) treat God like he’s actually GOD.

Pop, my grandfather, is a Christian. He used to teach religion at a college in Sleepy Hollow. When I was a kid he told me every person who’s ever been born was messed up in God’s eyes. Some worse than others. But Pop said being even a little messed up is enough to send you off the road and into the ditch. Except he didn’t say ditch. He used a word I can’t repeat because Mom says it’s a cuss word. Pop said that’s how come we need God’s help to get fixed.

I know most of the boys my age don’t think a lot of stuff in the Bible actually happened. Like, how can there have been dinosaurs during the Jurassic Park era and the earth only be 6000 years old? 6000 years old! My grandfather has packing peanuts that old. My grandfather never throws away bubble wrap or packing peanuts. “Never know when I’m going to need to mail something.” By the way, my grandfather hardly ever leaves the house so I’m not sure when he thinks he’s going to mail something to someone.

But then my science teacher swears we came from some single-cell-ameba-whatever that crawled from the sea a gazillion years ago and eventually grew into a human. How’s that even possible? And where did the single-cell-ameba-whatever come from? Or the earth? Or our solar system? See what I’m saying? There had to be something or someone before there was the single-cell-ameba-whatever. I’ll be honest: I’m not sure either side knows the real facts.

Only thing I know is that the more I read in the Bible about ghosts and the “walking dead,” and “men turned into wild beasts” (that could or could not have been a “wolf-man”), the more I wonder if maybe some (maybe all) of what’s in the Bible might be true.

And if it is, then the Bible is about the scariest book I know of.

By the way, did you know that:
  • According to the National Assessment of Education Progress' latest report, 64% of all eighth-grade students are unable to read proficiently.
  • 82% percent of black students and 77% of Hispanic students are not reading proficiently.
  • More than 30 million Americans cannot read or write above a third-grade level.
  • 85% of the juveniles in the court system are functionally illiterate, as are 60% of prison inmates.
  • The reading gap between boys and girls increases as they age. By 12th grade girls are two times more likely to score higher on reading tests than boys.

I wrote the 'Caden Chronicles' series with boys in mind. The 'Caden Chronicles' books are short murder mysteries with a spiritual supernatural element. For example,

Dead Man's Hand addresses the myth of ghosts.

Skull Creek Stakeout addresses the myth of vampires (it started in the Upper Room).

Dead Low Tide addresses the myth of zombies and the walking dead.

Rumor of a Werewolf deals with powerful men who refuse to honor God
and are turned into beast-like creatures (Book of Daniel).

"Immediately his body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird. Let him live with the animals of the earth. Let his mind be changed from that of a man and let him be given the mind of an animal." ~ the Bible "werewolf"

Opportunity for writers:
By the way, if you know a boy or girl who likes to make up stories and stuff, send them my way. The Cool Ghoul Gazette, at http://coolghoulgazette.com needs some new writers/reporters. No experience required. We will teach you how to write a lead, build upon the “who, what, when, where, how” reporting style, and help you improve your writing skills. Think of this like your high school newspaper, only way more fun.

The man who helps me write the Caden Chronicle series (Mr. Jones) graduated with a journalism degree back when reporters published the facts, not their opinions, and sought to present both sides of a story fairly. (Mr. Jones added that last part.) And if you’re too old to be called young (or whatever), you can still write for us. It’s just that we give kids my age first priority on the big stories. You can contact me, Nick Caden, at: mailto:editor@coolghoulgazette.com. The scarier the story, the better. If The Cool Ghoul Gazette had been around when that fellow Edgar Allan Poe was alive, he’d have probably written for us. Anyway, we need lots of scary stories so send us some strange writers.

Thank you so much for joining us Nick (and Eddie)!!

Character Interview with Beth Steury

Maggie from
Before I Knew You by Beth Steury
Happy Saturday to all our friends at Stitches Thru Time! Today we have a special guest, Maggie from Beth Steury's Before I Knew You. That's right folks, we are going to do something adventurous and venture into the life and mind of a teenage girl. ;)

Before we get into the interview, here's a little about the book.

After a series of bad choices rocked his world, seventeen-year-old Preston charts a new course as far from his ladies’ man ways as he can get. He distances himself from the dating scene and avoids his party-loving friends—the things that once dominated his life. Then he meets Maggie, the new girl in town, the first day of their junior year. She’s beautiful on the inside and out, knows nothing of his past, and he can’t get her out of his mind. When a disastrous first date leaves her skeptical about the guys at Madison High, Maggie slows down her pursuit of a guy to trust with her white-wedding-dress future. She wants a boyfriend, sure, but he’d have to be nothing like the jerk who forced her first kiss. Someone more like Preston, who’s been nothing but sweet and helpful, not to mention, easy on the eyes. But he is so out of her league. Can Maggie afford to let her guard down around the charming Preston? Will Preston’s past jeopardize his chances with the one girl who could anchor his future?

Sounds great, right? Now let's get on to the interview.

Welcome, Maggie! Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

Well, it’s a good thing we’re chatting now rather than six months ago when I first came to Madison. I’ve got a much better attitude about being transplanted here, during my sophomore year of high school, than I did in the beginning. I’m still not thrilled about the situation, but I’m trying to make the best of it. If only I could shed my new-girl-status.

What caused your recent move to Madison High?

My parents got the bright idea to open a clinic, in Pine Crossing, Indiana, of all places, and drug me and my brother along. Five hundred miles from my friends, my school, my church—from everything I’d known my whole life. Madison is huge compared to my tiny high school where I knew everyone.

What is the most important thing in your life?

I made a decision to follow Christ when I was just a little girl. It was important to me then and it still is today, to live a life that pleases Him. I made a commitment to save sex for marriage so that someday I could wear a white wedding dress, and for the right reason. I hate it sooooo much that so many people think waiting doesn’t matter. That makes me sad.

If you could go back 3 or 4 years, what advice would you give yourself?

I’m so tired of being shy, awkward, afraid of new things, . . . and alone. I wish I’d pushed myself, or met someone like Chelsea, a couple of years ago. Because now I’m afraid that shy and awkward and alone is all I know how to be. But thankfully, Chelsea’s helping me to be more like her and less like me. Which is a good thing. I think.

What makes you think Preston is out of your league?

He’s so popular and charming and so incredibly hot! He could have any girl he wanted, so why would he ever be interested in me? I’m pretty sure he flirts with all the girls. And may have dated like half the class already, according to how this girl Cindy described him on the first day of school. Anyway, I can’t imagine why he doesn’t have a girlfriend, but Chelsea insists he doesn’t. She thinks I should “go after him” which is so not me.

Tell us what your goals are for the next few years.

Doing well in school has always been very important to me. And of course, then I’ll go to college, to major in what, I’m not sure at this point. But I want a boyfriend! Ugh . . . did I say that out loud? Well, it’s true. I was sure that this year it would be my turn to be in an amazing relationship with an awesome guy. An awesome Christian guy who would respect my white-wedding-dress future. But . . . I guess not.

What is your greatest struggle in life at this point?

Thanks to Logan Wallace and the worst first date ever, that pursuit for the perfect guy is completely on hold. If all the guys at Madison are like him, this will definitely not be the year of the boyfriend. I made a huge mistake going out with a guy I knew nothing about. You can be sure, I’ll never do that again. So, no boyfriend for Maggie. Unless . . . by some miracle, Preston is interested in me. Because I’m positive he is nothing like Logan. But it’s ridiculous to even entertain the thought of us as a couple. Get on with your life sans boyfriend, Maggie!

Any parting remarks?

Wish me luck this year, will you? And pray that I survive National Honor Society. Talk about a new scenario where I feel soooo out of place! Why oh why, did I let my parents talk me into joining???

Thanks so much for sharing with us today, Maggie! Readers, be sure to leave a comment for Maggie to get your name in the drawing to win a copy of Before I Knew You!

God's Mercies After Suicide - Interview with Jean Williams

I am so excited for today's interview. I have been waiting a couple of weeks to be able to share this with you all, and it's finally time! Allow me to introduce Jean Ann Williams. This is an incredible woman who has a heart to share her struggles and triumphs with hurting people. I interviewed Jean Ann over chat and since then it has been hard to wait to share it. I think ya'll will enjoy meeting her.

Jean Ann, thank you so much for joining us today! I’m so excited to introduce you to our Stitches Thru Time readers. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I'm 63, and published my first book after 20 years of learning the craft of writing. Just Claire is for the upper middle-grade audience.

I'm also an avid archer and love to big game hunt here in the mountains of Oregon. I got to call in a five by five antlered bull elk on my first bow hunt, but he was too far away to shoot.

I have a husband of 46 years, and we married when I was 16. We have three children, one has passed on. And 13 grandchildren. My husband and I have one acre and we raise goats, chickens, and two dogs.

That’s amazing. I come from a family of 12, so I always like to see large families.
Oh, how amazing, Amber. I come from a family of nine and I'm the eldest and bossiest. Our son has eight and our daughter has five children.

Love it. Your email signature quotes Phil 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” It certainly sounds true for you! I was amazed to see that you write on a large spectrum. Can you tell us about your work?
I originally wrote for children, but my first published article was about my husband's work as a school campus police officer. The title was Don't Call Him Cop.

This was 20 years ago, and I was hooked on publishing. I sold crossword puzzles for Sunday school take home papers. I had a column in the Seventh Day Adventist Listen magazine for teens.

Ha! I love the title. I mean, adult nonfiction to YA fiction, how do you do it?
I'm ADAD???

I don't know. I guess I have always had many projects in the works even when my children were little and I was a stay-at-home mom sewing and babysitting to earn vacation money.

I enjoy having many projects going at once. And, I have had such an interesting life even as a child that I have 11 more books to write. Let's just say I get bored easily.

Quite a talent if you ask me. Now, your upcoming release focuses on one of the most heartbreaking issues I’ve seen. How did you get into this ministry?

My son, Joshua, died by suicide coming up 13 years ago in March. He was 25. I had to write about how God blessed me, held me, kept me safe after Joshua's death. The story is incredible, even to me.

Within the hour after Joshua shot himself, after I held him in my arms and felt the last heartbeat, Satan spoke in my ear: Now where is your God?

Oh wow. You are a brave woman, Jean Ann. Do you find it difficult to open up about what you went through?
No, I do not. What was hard is doing the last edits of the book and reliving the hardest parts. My editor and I did a dozen edits that last few months before the book published.

I found myself sobbing more and more and prayed the book would be done.

I cannot imagine how hard that would be for a mother. What advice do you offer to people who know a mother that is going through this?
Please, do talk about the child to the mother. We want to hear our child's name. If you know this mother well, do something to ease her horror. Even if it's a card in the mail each week to show you care.

I highly recommend my book only because it shows what God can do for us.

That sounds like great advice. When will your book become available?
My book has been out since September and is available at Create Space and Amazon.

In paper back and Kindle.

It sounds like you've poured your whole heart into God's Mercies. I hope readers will check it out. Jean Ann, I want to thank you again for being with us today. Is there anything else you'd like to share?
Yes, for those of you listening, please do not put God in a box. I found out through the first four years after Joshua's death that God is capable and will do anything to ease our sorrows.

I greatly admire you for the strength that you display, your desire to share and help others, and the way you lean on the Everlasting Arms, even in such a horrific circumstance.

Thank you for our chat, Amber. I've enjoyed our time together. God bless you!

Readers, do you have any questions for Jean Ann? I hope you'll introduce yourselves and leave Jean Ann a comment to get your name in the drawing for our weekly giveaway.

Pirates, Princesses, and Peeking into the Marden's Mark Series #Giveaway

Howdy y'all! Crystal Barnes here and I've got a talented lady with me today who's as special as her name--my buddy and fellow author, Kathrese McKee! Kathrese and I belong to the same ACFW chapter here in Texas, but you don't always see her in our group photos because she's more often than not the gal behind the camera. :)

Welcome to Stitches Thru Time, Kathrese. For those of us who don't have the privilege of knowing you, tell us a bit about yourself.

Thanks, Crystal, I’m happy to be here. For those who haven’t met me before, I am an author, teacher, and editor. My goal is to write epic adventures for young adults and anyone else who enjoys pirates and princesses combined with life's difficult questions. That means exciting stories, appropriate content, and quality craftsmanship. I am married to my college sweetheart, and we have four children, two grown-ups and two teenagers, three girls and one boy. I wasn’t born in Texas, but I was born to Texans. I hope that counts.

What are you currently writing?

Currently, I’m working on the second full-length novel in the Mardan’s Mark series. The first book is Mardan’s Mark, and the second one will be Mardan’s Anointed. There is a novella, Healer’s Curse, that should be read between the two books. I call it a companion novella to Mardan’s Mark because it takes place concurrently with that book. Characters from Healer’s Curse reappear in Mardan’s Anointed.

But back to your question. Mardan’s Anointed is at 135,000 words and counting. I’m close to the end, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I will have to give it a savage edit to keep the word count reasonable. I keep thinking about J.K. Rowling’s books in the Harry Potter series and how they grew longer as she progressed.

Mardan’s Anointed has to be on the long side because Aldan and Srilani, the main characters, both go through huge changes in their lives. That requires space. It feels like I’m writing two books at once, but hopefully, readers will appreciate how their stories intertwine.

I love the covers of your books! They look and sound so intriguing. Where did you get the inspiration for your story?

I would say that the entire series was inspired by Old Testament stories, especially the story of Deborah, but it’s a mash-up of patriarchs, judges, and kings. And pirates. Ha!

But seriously, my children were my inspiration for getting started. Back in 2007, I challenged my oldest daughter, Sarah, who was a senior in homeschool, to do NaNoWriMo with me.

We both wrote up a storm that November, and I simply kept writing after NaNoWriMo ended. I have notebooks full of handwritten chapters that will (thankfully) never see the light of day.

Later—much later—I decided that I had to get serious about Young Adult fiction, and I rewrote Book One with the encouragement of Laura Anderson Kurk, my critique partner and mentor. She writes Contemporary YA, but she graciously helped me with my epic adventure fantasy. I will forever be grateful to her for getting me started.

I'm glad you're working to give our young folks something wholesome to read that includes a great and godly message. What do you hope folks will take away from your story?

I hope they will take away a deeper appreciation of God’s nature without feeling as if they have read a sermon. In my stories, the Creator is referred to as “El.” Naturally, I want my readers to experience a rollicking good time, but I also want them to think about the nature of God and his care for us. His justice and his mercy. His timing and his will. My characters get pushed hard to make difficult, life and death choices. They believe in El, but they have to learn to trust him too. I expect any mention of a Creator will put off some readers, but for those who are searching, I hope they will be drawn closer.

Sounds like a wonderful message that you've weaved into your story. Thanks for sharing, and speaking of sharing...

Do you have a favorite scene in the book? If so, can you tell us a bit about it?

Hmm. Can I do that without spoilers? Well, I suppose anyone who reads the cover of Mardan’s Anointed will be able to figure out that Srilani’s transition to palace life from surviving in the wilderness isn’t going to be a smooth one. One of my favorite scenes is between her and her maid, Ana, as Srilani insists that she will be wearing a sword at all times from then on. Srilani asks Ana to procure a more attractive belt and scabbard. Here’s a snippet:

"But why? None of the other ladies at court wear swords."

Srilani gave an unladylike snort. "None of them have been stolen by pirates either.” She closed her hands into fists on her lap. “We were with a squad of soldiers when we were abducted. We were supposed to be secure. The one lesson I learned from that experience is that I am responsible for my safety. If Father sets guards around me, I can’t rely on them entirely.”

Ana’s sympathetic expression encouraged Srilani to finish her confession. “I keep thinking that if I had worn a weapon that day, been a little quicker, fought a little harder, then things might have turned out differently." She stood and picked up the belt. "So tonight, I will wear my sword in this ugly scabbard, but for tomorrow evening, I want something more fitting. Can you do that?"

Sounds like my kind of gal. :) Lots of spice.

Tell us, what is the quirkiest thing you've ever done?

A few years ago, I went to the trouble and expense of learning to ride a motorcycle as sort of a birthday present to myself. I even earned a license to drive one. But since then, I’ve never been brave enough to try it. If I ever do get up the nerve, I want to try one of the three-wheeled motorcycles like the Can-Am Spyder.

When you do, I want a ride! :D

Before I stop asking questions of you, please tell our readers where they can connect with you. Where can readers buy your book(s)?

Readers can connect with me at KathreseMcKee.com. My books are available on Amazon, but soon, they will be available in more places. Crystal, thanks for including me in Stitches Thru Time. I had fun!

It's been a thrill having you here, Kathrese! I'm so glad you could join us.

Folks, Kathrese has kindly offered to giveaway one FREE paperback copy of Marden's Mark to one of this post's commenters. (Sorry, only shipping within the US. Winner to be announced in Monday's Weekly Windup post.)

So let's chat... How many of y'all like pirate stories? Do you or someone you know enjoy reading young adult novels? Have you ever ridden a motorcycle?

Author Interview with Grace Marshall

When I was a teen, one of my favorites was a YA Horse-lover series, so I'm excited to introduce you to Grace Marshall, who also writes YA books with a horse theme.

Grace is the author of the “Horse Haven” series as well as Person of Faith; she has also contributed several articles to newspapers. She enjoys hanging out with her dashing husband, J. Lindsey Marshall, their saucy cat, Amerigo Vespucci, and their playful Mastiff puppy, Mini. Grace loves all animals but especially horses. She has lived in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Tennessee, and currently resides in the Missouri hills. She believes in living life to the fullest and can’t wait to see where God will take her or have her write next. See more about Grace on her website http://www.wordsbytwo.com.

Welcome, Grace! We're so glad you could visit us today.
What made you decide to become a writer?
I wanted to make a difference in the world and I thought that I could show truths through writing. Through writing you can inspire people and change their minds, you can attack the roots of the problem and help those in need. Plus, it’s incredibly fun!

Where did the inspiration for your latest book come from?
My own life. I grew up in Wisconsin and moved further south while I was in High School. I currently live in Missouri. I never lived on a ranch but did have horses for a few years, and have volunteered at horse ranches. I drew from those experiences and No Pizza Delivery? was born!

Why do you write the genre you do?
I honestly didn’t decide on the young adult genre, it just sort of happened. I desire to help people in my writing and I found that my books are targeted toward young adults. I’ve had a heart for teen ministry for a while and I feel that it’s such an important decision-making time in people’s lives, so I guess it just made sense.

How does your faith and spirituality work in with your writing?

It’s hard to not have it work in with my writing since my faith is a part of me and my life. I want Christian teenagers to be able to read this and have an example of a girl who follows a Christian lifestyle. I don’t like how a lot of young adult book options have erotica or dark creatures in them, so I don’t include those in mine. The main family in my book also goes to church so I add some scripture in during those scenes.

Sounds great, Grace. I can relate to that. What are you working on next?
I’m currently working on the second book of the “Horse Haven” series, that book is titled Unexpected Allies and Recurring Warts. It includes a spunky kitten on a daring rescue, a neglected mare full of love, and boys that recur like warts, which make Ruth’s life far from boring. It is scheduled to release this September.

Very interesting. Looks like you have some great stuff going on. Thank you so much for being with us!

Weekly Windup: Comment to Win No Pizza Delivery by Grace Marshall

The winner of Lone Star Love Collection by Crystal Barnes is...Patricia Bradley!

If you are a winner, please contact us with your info to claim your prize.

This Week's Giveaway is:

No Pizza Delivery by Grace Marshall.

Manure, southern accents, self-absorbed boys, and new faces are all a part of the maze that have become teenager Ruth Deloach’s life.

Her world is sent spinning when she finds out she is going to be ripped from America’s Dairyland to live in the embarrassingly small tourist town of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri. The blow is slightly lessened by the news that her father wants to start a horse ranch, but how enjoyable will it really be to live where there is no pizza delivery and a revolving door to the public? A public with a different idea of how things are done and said. To add embarrassment to her frustration she finds she knows less about horses than she presumed. Maybe the handsome ranch hand her father hires can brighten things up, then again, maybe not.

This giveaway runs through July 3rd. Comment on any post between now and then to enter, and remember, the more comments you make, the more entries you earn!

Winners will be announced in the Weekly Wind-up on July 4th.

A Visit with YA Author Lorilyn Roberts: Her books are award-winners!

It's with real pleasure I introduce and welcome Lorilyn Roberts today as our guest. Her books are delightful young adult and award winning. Enjoy her post and be sure to leave a comment and your email addy for a chance to win one of her e-books.

A Door Standing Open  by Lorilyn Roberts

We all understand the purpose of a door. Even my cats know. My indoor cats won’t enter the front door to go outside. My outdoor cats won’t enter the front door to come inside. Doors separate one world from another. They provide entries and exits. In the Bible, some are open and some are closed.

In Revelation 4:1, John talks about a very unusual door. The door is different in two respects. It separates the external world from the spiritual world, and it’s a time portal to the future.

A voice that sounded like a trumpet said to the disciple, John. “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

Our earthly bodies cannot cross the barriers of what I call the seventh dimension. Instead, we must enter through a spiritual door—as John did.

I used fantasy in the Seventh Dimension Series to show the spiritual reality that exists on the other side of that door, I wanted to stretch people’s minds into understanding concepts throughout the Bible not easily understood in a physical world.

I’ve found the more I enter into this spiritual world, the more spiritual warfare I encounter, and the more I feel God’s presence as He defends me with His weapons of mass destruction.

In Revelation 3:20, Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to Him…

My passion runs deep for the unsaved, and in the Seventh Dimension Series, I draw on Revelation in ways that would appeal to a younger, unchurched audience. The first book in the Seventh Dimension Series is The Door.

If you are not a believer in Jesus, The Door might be a book you would enjoy. I never use the words Christian, Jesus, heaven, or sin. The Door would also be a winnable alternative for someone who comes from a Jewish background.

I want to remind readers, even though time ticks slowly, it travels in the blink of an eye. I just turned sixty, and it seems like only yesterday when I was chasing fireflies on moonlit nights and cuddling my childhood pet dog, Gypsy.

I believe time is short for Jesus’ return, and if I’m wrong, time is still short because time is fleeting. In the Seventh Dimension Series, I introduce a recurring theme, “Time is an illusion until God’s appointed times.”

We think we have all the time in the world—until we don’t.

The first book in the series, The Door, is free as an e-book.
“The City” is on sale for $.99 (ONE DAY ONLY)
Saturday, June 25, on . . .

I hope to start the fifth book in the Seventh Dimension Series soon.

In Seventh DimensionThe Door, a young girl, Shale, suffers from rejection and lives in a broken, unloving home. A stray dog befriends her, and she follows it into the woods. There she discovers a door that leads to another world.

In Matthew 7:13, Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.”

How narrow is the narrow gate? The only way through that narrow gate is through Jesus. He is the door in Seventh DimensionThe Door, and the Bible tells us He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Your narrow gate will be different from mine and from Carole’s, but The Door is same for all of us.

I hope you will pick up my free e-book, Seventh DimensionThe Door. I’m also giving away a free e-book or signed copy of the latest book in the series, Seventh DimensionThe City. Leave a comment for a chance to win.

Here is a quote to ponder from The City.

Confusion is our friend. Order is our foe. We must fill hearts with fear and deny hope to all humankind. We must unite parts of our vast empire into a one world government and make Jerusalem the capital.”

The demons and fallen angels praised the cunning craftiness of Lucifer.

Most humans take at face value what they are told, like sheep led to the slaughter. We need gullible patrons to buy into the lie that political correctness requires tolerance. And who are the slaughterers?”

We are,” the crowd roared.

Remember, as you read The Door and The City, as well as other books in the Seventh Dimension Series, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through Him Who loved us. (Romans 8:37).
