Did you know Labor Day was first instituted as a federal holiday in 1894 to pay tribute to the achievements and contributions of American workers? On this 123rd celebration, may we not forget to thank those around us who labor to make our nation what it is.

Also, as you're enjoying a rest from your labors, may you also take a moment to pray for those working to recover from the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
