Emma Chandler started Harper's Station as a refuge for women. What she hadn't counted on was receiving threatening notes that warn of impending harm to the residents of the town if they don't vacate immediately. She chooses to remain and call on the help of her dearest friend instead of leaving.
Malachi Shaw owes his life to Emma. When her telegram comes asking for his assistance, he doesn't think twice about abandoning his job as an explosive expert with the railroad to help out his angel.
Both try to hide their true feelings for each other while dealing with the troubles facing them.
Karen Witemeyer has created another heartwarming story that has the reader eagerly turning pages to watch the story unfold, and then sad when it ends. I give No Other Will Do a 5 out of 5 for happily-ever-afters.
