"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: ... a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak" (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7).
Ladies, I think you all are doing an amazing job. Your books, reviews and posts are all relevant. The beauty of the varied posts is what might not be as interesting to me, will be extremely interesting to another reader. A favorite of mine is reading book reviews on debut or obscure authors. I want to be part of helping that writer be successful. When I first started participating in this blog, I only knew of about 20% of the authors. What a joy it has been to get to know more about everyone else.
ReplyDeleteI would say that I gravitate towards contemporary Christian fiction, but this year has been a breakout year for me. I read my first Amish fiction, loved it and sought out more. I have started reading more historical fiction and wondered why I haven't since my favorite book of all time is historical fiction.
Thanks for making this site a fun place to visit and keep up the good work.
Thanks for your kind words. What a joy to know that our posts have made a difference in your life.
DeleteThank you for your feedback, Terrill. I'm so glad you have joined our happy little community here at Stitches. :) It's been fun getting to know you too.
DeleteThanks so much for your feedback, Terrill. And bravo for branching out and trying new Christian fiction genres. :)
DeleteI read contemporary fiction. They are doing an amazing job
DeleteI love coming to Stitches and I cannot think of a way to improve it......it is great! I love to read Christian fiction so I would love to see some of those authors interviewed. Thank you all of the time you give and the talents you share.....It is greatly appreciated!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the feedback, Melanie. I'm so glad you enjoy visiting us. Are there any authors in particular you'd be interested in hearing from?
DeleteMe too. I agree with what you said
DeleteI recently discovered Stitches and even though I have enjoyed every post, I especially enjoy the interviews and reviews. I enjoy several genres: historical fiction, cozy mysteries, mystery/suspense, Amish fiction, biographies and Christian fiction.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the time you devote to informing and entertaining your readers.
Blessings!

DeleteA couple authors I love that would be great to interview - Laurie Eakes and Julianna Deering !
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions, Faith. I know Laurie Alice Eakes. Maybe I can work on that one. :)
DeleteI am probably not the person to ask as I just started reading the site recently. However, I like the variety of posts.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you're enjoying what you've seen thus far. :) Thanks for commenting.
