Celebrate with Me! #Giveaway

Howdy y'all! Crystal here. I've got great news! Wednesday I met my deadline---my very first deadline for a novel---for the Love Inspired Blurb2Book contest. Yeehaw!!! Hallelujah! Thank You, Jesus! I've been celebrating ever since. :) Can you tell?

A VASE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY
Thea James, proprietress of James & Company Antique Emporium, never thought murder would visit her small, surviving Gold Rush town of Larkindale. But when the Larkindale Lamplight reports the discovery of a body during the renovation of Larkin Lake Resort, Thea is caught up in the mystery.
Her world is further frenzied when she acquires a vintage vase with a list of familiar names inside. Initially, she is curious. But when the first person named ends up in a coma and the second disappears, Thea gets nervous. Then gets involved because…her own name is next!


Thea's story is a fun, easy read to while away an afternoon with. Puts me in mind of a Nancy Drew book. :) A nice cozy mystery, complete with a flawed heroine and quirky cast of supporting characters. A wonderful message is interwoven in the mix as well. Can you figure out who-dun-it?

Do y'all enjoy a good mystery? When was the last time you read one? It'd been a while for me.

      Mary, I've read a lot of Anne Perry, too. I really enjoyed the early Thomas & Charlotte Pitt novels. Her other series is good, too, but I am partial to Pitt. :-)

    Congratulations! I used to read all kinds of mysteries but not as much now. I've toned down on the type of mysteries I read. Every now and then, I will read one. I still buy them though when I see a good one.

      I used to read James Patterson, Sue Grafton, Patricia Cornwall, etc. Now, I'm more into cozy mysteries, Guideposts mystery series (I'm collecting those), Linda Castillo (Amish mystery), Paul Gaus (Amish mystery). Well, now that I wrote what type I'm interested in, it looks like I still read more mysteries than I thought!

      A Vase of Mistaken Identity does sound interesting and with the cat on the cover I just remembered another author whose books I used to read. I've read all of Lillian Jackson Braun's books years ago.

    Mysteries are my favorite Genre to read. The last one I read was "Waves of Deception" by Hope Callaghan. From the first page I was hooked and stayed up past my bedtime to finish reading it.
