  1. What a great idea this is! Here it goes... I have three grands, the best, you see, and they live one mile down the road from me. I did teach school but I haven't in years so hubby and I could travel far and near. The song of my life," You Never Know" , says it all for me where ever I go. I stay up late reading a good book and coffee I drink when in the morning I cook. My life is good, I am thankful, you see, so this is a little about dear ole me.

    1. Melanie, I love this! How you managed to make it a poem is amazing to me. I'm so bad with poetry. LOL.

Where is your favorite place that you've traveled to?

    2. I love your prose in this. I wish I had that talent. :)

    4. My favorite place in our travels is a hard one. In the USA, it would be Alaska. Overseas, it would be Switzerland.

  2. I agree with Melanie Backus. I'll have to do something like this on my group forum. This is fun. Here goes:

    1. A Christian author of Romance/Suspense, who has visited all but six states in our great U.S.A., Mexico and Canada. Retired from the 9 to 5 working world a few years ago and is now working full-time on her writing career. When Sharon is not writing or doing housework, her hobbies include gardening, painting and collecting castles.

    2. Amazing Grace Through God's Mercy.

    3. I'm both a morning person, waking up around 6 a.m. usually and a night owl who stays up to finish a chapter or edit until I feel I have to quit or become a zombie for the next day.

    4. Easy, peasy...coffee.

    5. In hindsight, there are many things I would change, but one big thing would be to start writing earlier in life.

    6. Oooo...hard one. There are so many books already written about every subject you can think of. But here's one I've never heard of. A story about two writers who meet at a writer's group and find out they've basically written the same story. The man writes the story with the woman as the villain, and the woman has written the story with the woman as a heroine. The writers are at odds with one another immediately, but in the end they fall in love and combine the two stories into a best seller. :D

    1. Hello Sharon!
That's great! I love to travel, but I haven't ticked off that many states yet.
Sounds like your life is very full. But it also sounds like you have a lot of fun. LOL. Collecting castles? Do tell!

That sounds like a SUPER fun book. I remember running across a book that someone wrote about a writer who finally meets "Mr. Write" who is a writer as well, but you put a whole new twist on it. I want to read it too!

1)Tell us about yourself in three sentences.
I am kooky and wacky. I am uber creative (it never stops.) I love to make other people happy.

    2) If your life were a song, what would be the title?
Laugh a Little, Pray a Little, Love a Lot

    3) Morning person or night owl?
Definitely NOT a morning person. At all

    4) Coffee or tea?
Yes, coffee in the mornings, and tea 24/7

    5) If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
Gee, I dunno, maybe get rid of this stupid RA!!! Whaddya think???

    1. Hi, Robin! Sounds like you're in great company here. I've never been accused of being normal. :)

      What do you write?

    2. Ha! Another person who uses the word "uber". I love it! I thought I was just weird. :)

I'm surprised at how many folks like both tea and coffee. I've always felt disloyal because I didn't pick one or the other. LOL.

  4. A neat idea Amber!

I am the sixth of twelve children, with amazing parents! I have just graduated high school, and have started working in my father's construction business.

If my life was a song it would be "Let my Life Song Sing to You"

    I am a morning person. :D

I love both coffee and tea

If I could change one thing... I really don't know. God has been so good to me.

I thought it would be really neat to read about the story of Mary Magdalene.

  5. 1)Tell us about yourself in three sentences.
I am a retired librarian who still recommends books but now it is through my written reviews. I have been blessed with wonderful parents (both now deceased), an amazing husband who loves me as I am, and two special girls--my daughter and my grandaughter. I am royalty through the blood of Jesus and I am a child of the King!

    3) Morning person or night owl?
What is a good name for someone who is most productive 10 - 10?

    4) Coffee or tea?
Iced tea is my drink most of the day but I do like my coffee in the morning!

    5) If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?
I really don't think what might have been, I just try to move forward and use my past as a guideline for the future.
    Blessings!

  6. This is a great idea, Amber. Totally loving it!

    1. I'm a follower and learner of Jesus Christ and look forward to the day when I'll see Him face to face. I'm a born-n-raised Texan, award-winning author, southern-gospel-singing gal who just got remarried to the love of her life. I format books and do cover design for myself and other writers as a side job.

    2. Picking one song is SO very hard. I guess "It is Well With My Soul" would do.

    3. I'm typically a morning person, but I can be a night owl when need be. Normally the sun wakes me up.

    4. Water. I'll take decaf tea if I can't have that.

    1. Oooh, can we hear you sing, Crystal? Got any videos or something?

    2. Haha. I think there's one Youtube video out there floating around, but it was more horsing-around than serious singing. Maybe one day I'll get one up there. :)

  7. 1. I'm a crisis interventionist for abused children and their non-offending family members. I grew up in a Christian home and I'm the oldest by 10 minutes. I'm grateful for each blessing I have received from my Heavenly Father throughout my life including excellent health.

    2. To God be the Glory would be my life song.

    3. I've always been a morning person--love to see the sunrise and take early morning walks when nature is waking up for the day. I can be a night owl when necessary.

    4. I drink coffee of a morning during the winter but go without in the summer.

    5. God has walked with me and guided me through every storm of life so no complaints.

    6. A book to be written. Hard to say as there are so many to choose from with great plots and settings.

This has been a fun post. Thank you for using this today. It's nice to get to know bloggers and those who comment better. God bless one and all.
