Trouble strikes the Cimarron Ranch when the owner is badly injured in an avalanche. He demands his three children return home and work together for a year on the land he loves, or else forfeit their inheritance. Sadie balks at the command but doesn't have the heart to go against her father.
Difficulties continue to arise and hired hand, Heath Kincaid, is thrown in the midst of them with the three siblings. Danger lurks and he'll do whatever he can to protect the woman he has had his eye on for quite some time. Only problem is, she hasn't noticed him. Will she come to think of him as more than just a protector?
Mary Connealy has a great start to the Cimarron Legacy Series with No Way Up. I found this book difficult to put down. It's one you'll definitely want to read.
