Howdy y'all. Crystal, here. I'm gonna pretend I have something creative to say and share with y'all some pics I took while roaming through the wilds of Yellowstone National Park earlier this month.
I know, I know, it's not really all that creative, but turn off your critiquer for the moment and pretend with me. (Or consider pictures a form of art and enjoy the show. :) )
After all, our Master Creator painted all these wonders for us to enjoy. Where else does our creativity come from if not from Him? Who else can drape a 100+ ft waterfall across mountainous terrain?
Or put peaceful streams and smoking geysers side by side?
Or give buffalo their great strength?
Or bighorn sheep their amazing agility?
And the colors! He can drop a pool filled with mustard-yellow formations smack-dab beside a pool of the purest blues.
Who can't help but be amazed by geysers rocketing into the air?
Or have their breath stolen by magnificent sunsets that paint the mountains with lavender hues?
I'm inspired. How about you?

Just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt surely takes your breath away when you're there, Mary. We spent two days in the park and still didn't see it all. :)
DeleteThanks for sharing! What spectacular pictures. I can only imagine how these scenes looked in real life.
ReplyDeleteOh, some of them I know the camera didn't do them justice, but they still bring back the wonder of it all. God is so amazing!
DeleteWow Crystal, I love these pictures. There are so much natural beauty in this great country. Wish I could travel more. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI meant "There is so much natural beauty..."
DeleteGlad you enjoyed the photos, Elaine. I hadn't gotten to travel in a while and it was such a thrill to see the majesty of God's creation.
DeleteThanks, Crystal! Anytime you want to share your photos, I'll be here! And yes, it stirs the creative juices.
ReplyDeleteHi Pat!! Glad you enjoyed the photos. I''m thinking I need to put some up on my web page. :)
DeleteSo happy you shared these photos with us! Yellowstone is definitely an inspiring place to visit God's creation.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed them, Deb. Have you ever visited Yellowstone?
DeleteI did visit a couple years ago and I think that's why I fell in love with your photos. They brought back fond memories!
DeleteIsn't it wonderful the way photos can do that? Were you able to see Old Faithful erupt? I saw it smoking but didn't get to catch the water shooting in the air. The pics I have here are of a different geyser we just happened to stop by and see. It was so totally awesome. :) I'll never forget it.
DeleteWe did see Old Faithful erupt...very special. I hadn't been back to Yellowstone since I was a kid. I hope you got a chance to see the Grand Tetons. They are amazing and lots of wildlife down that way too. Love the Rockies! I hope you get to go again sometime, Crystal.
DeleteI think the roads to see the Grand Tetons were still closed. Guess that'll just have to be another trip. :)
DeletePretty pic. The place was great to visit
