A Day to Remember
After the ceremony we decided to visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We arrived just minutes before the changing of the guard. It was meaningful to witness it since my brother-in-law used to be one of the many who held this duty. As we celebrate Memorial Day, take time to thank God for the many who have given their lives in order for us to have a free Nation.
As you celebrate the day with your family and friends, don't forget to pause to remember those who have given their lives for our country and also to say a prayer for our Nation.
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14
