"But they that wait upon the Lord
shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
It's been a little while since I've posted with Stitches Thru Time. In late September I went to help take care of my mother-in-law during her last weeks on this earth. The job demanded a lot of me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I existed on very little sleep, often needing to assist her.
Each morning, and often in the wee hours, I prayed for strength and God always provided. I knew many were praying for me. I could sense those prayers. They made a difference. I'm grateful for those who stood in the gap and covered me in prayer.
As we draw closer to Thanksgiving, most begin to think of things they are thankful for from the past year. I challenge you to each day throughout this coming year to find five things for which you are grateful. Perhaps you'd like to start a journal and record them. While you're at it, pray and ask God to create in you a grateful heart.
May you have a blessed Thanksgiving.

Whether it's a conversation with a friend, a word that is penned, or a craft that is made, everything we do leaves a stitch in the fabric of time. Join us as we investigate the stitches of the past and present...
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: ... a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak" (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 7).
I have much to be thankful for.
