What Day IS Today?

Oh merciful glory! Today is Friday and I thought it was Wednesday last night just after midnight!

I think my ‘days’ have been messed up in my head since my most awesome month-long island hopping adventure in June and July. I came home so behind (work wise—blogging and marketing) after having only sketchy internet the whole month, so my busy-ness added to my confusion over what day it was!
I just got back this past Monday from being gone another ten days to Nashville Tennessee for the Christian Fiction Readers’ Retreat and the American Christian Fiction Writers’ Conference… Had a marvelous time seeing so many faces and getting so many hugs, but got behind again, and the days remained jumbled.

SO, this post for my Fun Friday is late, but I did get next WEDNESDAY’s post published at Sweet Americana Sweethearts published last night just after midnight! Remember above? I thought today was Wednesday.

Which, by the way, I promoted on several sites! Had to go take them all down, keeping a list of the commenters for the Giveaway… and apologize to the author who really was supposed to post today! Oi Vay!

I can’t begin to imagine how many times I’ve asked my husband, “What day is today?” this summer! But I continue to stand on Proverbs 10:7 “The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.” I know, I know…I’m taking it out of context, but still—it IS God’s Word, and I’m standing on it!

Another thing I say often is, I’d rather be busy than bored!” But there’s truly not much chance in my world for boredom to get any foothold. So, please forgive my tardiness. Hope you got a little smile. For a wonderful weekend, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you find a local movie theater and go see BEN HUR! It’s FABULOUS! SO much better than the first one. Do not miss it!

FREE for FIVE DAYS
PARE-ORDER NOW!

Hugs and blessings and love, y’all. You can grab my book five DAUGHTERS OF THE HEART in the Texas Romance series for FREE today through Tuesday the 6th. And my newest story THE BEDWARMER’S SON is available for pre-order, debuting the 26th this month!

BIO:  Caryl McAdoo loves God, and currently writes four series: the historical Christian ‘Texas Romance’ a family saga; a contemporary ‘Red River Romance’; The Generations, her Biblical fiction, and the newest Days of Dread Trilogy for mid-grade readers. Known as the “Singing Pray-er”, she loves praising with new songs the Lord gives her and prays her story gives God glory! In 2008, she and high school sweetheart-husband Ron moved from the DFW area—home for fifty-plus years—to the woods of Red River County. Caryl counts four children and sixteen grandsugars life’s biggest blessings, believing all good things come from the Lord. Besides glorifying Him, she hopes each title also ministers His love, mercy, and grace to its readers. The McAdoos live in Clarksville, the county seat, in the far northeast corner of the Lone Star State with two grandsons.
