The Wonder of You by Susan May Warren

Heidi here. I just finished reading Susan May Warren's latest Christiansen Family series, The Wonder of You.
Oh. My. Gosh, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Susie's writing!

Returning home to Deep Haven following a semester abroad cut short, Amelia Christiansen is ashamed, feeling certain she isn't brave enough for the adventures she dreamed of. Battling with the feeling of failure, the last thing she expects is for the man who broke her heart to cross the Atlantic and beg forgiveness.
Heir to a European hotel dynasty, Roark St. John has lived a life trekking from one exotic location to the next, always haunted by tragedy and the expectations that come with his last name. In Amelia, he sees a woman who has finally given him a reason to stop running from himself. He'll do anything for a second chance - even contend with Amelia's old flame, a man who is intent on sending Roark packing.
Wonder of You doesn't disappoint, it is another well crafted page turner by Susan May Warren. Susie weaves an awesome subplot in with the main story. Max, just married to Grace, doesn't want children for fear of passing on his latent Huntington gene. But Grace wants children. And she connects with an orphan early in the novel. So conflicts ensue!
I also loved how Seth and Roark fight over Amelia, yet Amelia doesn't become arrogant, instead she looks at the fighting as embarrassing. And forgiveness is shown by the beloved Christiansen family as they take in Roark with open arms, even after they sent him home months before for breaking Amelia's heart. Suzie is a master at developing lovable and well-rounded characters, slowly leaking backstory in an active manner, and creating a plot that moves quick, yet makes the reader emotionally involved.
Thank you Susan May Warren for following your dream and creating masterpieces for us to enjoy!
