One year, severe cold and a winter storm occurred on Christmas Eve and we were trying to milk our cows, prepare shelter for them for the night of wind chill equal to 40 degrees below zero and still provide Christmas for our daughter. This made us appreciate all of the other Christmases when the weather was more moderate! My father passed...Oh, how cold they must have been! My father passed away on Christmas Eve so that year was tough.
