Amber has a new Biblical Fiction in her Days of Messiah series, #2 THE MESSIAH'S SIGN.

A Word from Amber: One of the funnest scenes in The Messiah's Sign takes place as Tyrus returns home from Jerusalem. He's feeling very depressed because he's just returned from making a sacrifice of cleansing for his home because his wife, Aaliyah, contracted leprosy.

He now has to try to raise their son alone, cope with the difficulties and additional expenses of purging their home, and manage their trade business. He feels very tired and alone as their long journey finally brings him home after dark.
As he stables the donkey, he realizes someone is inside his house. As the protective father, it scares him to death. He heads inside to address the danger, hiding his son nearby. As it turns out, it is his best friend, Peter, and their neighbors throwing a welcome home and house dedication party for him.
Have you ever had friends come through for you in your time of need?

Christian Author Angela Crouch

Angela with her historical romance MAIL-ORDER REVENGE!

Excerpt: She’d been mad thinking she could pull off this deceit. What if he did recognize her? He’d no doubt leave her stranded without more than a dollar in her reticule.
She might make it as far as Prescott.
But then what? What sort of employment was available for a woman in this barren wasteland?
Elizabeth glanced sideways at the Bumble Bee Saloon and shuddered. Not just because of the predicament she’d landed herself in, but who named a town after an insect?

Carole Brown celebrates KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR, a historical romance
Excerpt: Tall and slender, she glided closer, her deep green eyes blazing with distrust. “Who are you?
You’ve got soap suds all over the floor.” Mirth swelled inside him, but he swallowed the temptation to laugh. He wouldn’t have been surprised to see her stretch one long finger in haughty accusation at him, declaring, “Off with his head.”
Joel is such a confident, happy-go-lucky person who truly loves God--and now that he's found her--the woman of his dreams. He's determined to find the person making his "future wife" unhappy. If he can just gain her trust!

Christian author Caryl McAdoo

Caryl brings Book One of her historical western VOW UNBROKEN! Perfect if you haven't read the beginning of the family saga!

Excerpt: Perspiration trickled down to the small of her back. The sun, though its climb had barely began, already shone bright on the eastern horizon and heated the mid-September air so that every breath scorched her throat. Much like Jack Littlejohn, it offered no mercy. And like the air, her throat held no moisture, though she needed to swallow.

“You’re wasting my time. Good day, Mister Littlejohn.” She whirled and headed toward her wagons. Her face burned, and she knew full well that it had turned red. How dare that man! A grubby hand grabbed her arm, and, whirling her around, jerked her to an abrupt stop. She yanked away from his grasp and glared; she wished the fire inside her would somehow leap forward and set the despicable excuse of a human being ablaze.
“Keep your cheating hands off me.”

Christian author Crystal L. Barnes

Crystal shares her humorous historical western romance, SIGNED, SEALED, and DELIGHTED!

Excerpt: Her glare could’ve curdled cream.
Looking away, he eased onto the edge of the tub. Heat crawled up his neck and seeped into his face. Unable to help himself, his attention gravitated to the yard of creamy white peeking below the shirt that hovered above her knees.
   “Ah-hemm!”
Joe’s straying gaze shot upward. The heat in his cheeks burst into an inferno.
“Would you get out of my room?!”
“Oh, right. Sorry.” He emptied his boots of water and hurried to stand, trying to explain all the while. “I-I heard a yell, then I couldn’t hear anything over those dolts singing in the hall. I thought you’d slipped and knocked yourself out. I’m glad to see you’re undressed—unharmed! I’m glad to see you’re unharmed. I’ll leave you to get dressed. We’ll talk tomorrow. At breakfast.”
He took a step toward the door, slid, and fell to his back with a thud. Stifling a groan, he reached for the back of his head and sat up. With a grip on the edge of the tub, he moved to rise. The tub tipped. His hand slipped, and he pitched forward with a splat.

Christian author Elaine Manders

Elaine brings her PURSUED, historical romance with suspense for your enjoyment!

Excerpt: “Did you have a pleasant Sunday, Mr. Cason?”
He walked all the way around the table and, in his usual manner, pulled out a chair and straddled it. Laying his arms across the back of the chair, he smiled at her, showing the creases around his mouth and the dimple in his cheek. “Nothing out of the ordinary, Miss Barlow. Is there some reason we’re not on a first name basis yet?”

The merriment in his dark eyes bemused her. “I don’t understand.”
“We’re friends by now. We’ve dined together. We’ve danced.”
   “You’re still my employer.”
He wrinkled his brow as if he studying the problem. “That’s true, but as your employer, I have the right to set the rules of your employment, and my rule is we address each other as friends.”
His quick wit made her smile. “I’m in no position to argue with that.”
