ACFW 2015 Genre Dinner

Howdy y'all! Crystal here. I thought y'all might get a kick out of seeing some of the zaniness at the 2015 ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers) Conference. For the past couple of years, they've hosted a genre dinner, where the writers dress up like one of their characters. Here's some of the fun. You might see some familiar faces. (I ran into some of our former Stitches members.)
Crystal and Carrie Turansky
Crystal and Janice Thompson

So how are y'all having fun this weekend? Do you enjoy dressing up?

  3. We are having our annual revival this week and church Homecoming on Sunday. It is always good to see members who have moved away and to enjoy the fantastic food at the Homecoming dinner. Yes, I will probably 'dress up' that morning because our normal church attire is casual or work appropriate
Looks like you thoroughly enjoyed yourself at ACFW. Thank you for sharing!

  4. Looking cute and happy, Crystal. I couldn't go to ACFW, but one of my costumes did.

    2. Ha, that does sound weird. Natalie Monk, one of my cps, borrowed the 1870s daydress I made since it fit the era she's writing about. You probably saw her at the convention.

    1. I'm sorry you missed it too. I'll never forget the trip to the airport in the car with you last year. :)
