My time and place to read is in my bed at night after everyone else has been tucked in. Of the books I have read recently, THE QUILTED HEART by Mona Hodgson is one of my favorites. I love it and highly recommend it!Britney Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02972950656114757798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7474271316278058173.post-87363878435402804882014-01-10T10:12:02.207-05:002014-01-10T10:12:02.207-05:00I'm jealous that you have a real wood stove! We got new flooring two years ago, and my wonderful husband hasn't had the time and equipment to replace our wood burning stove. I can't wait to get my favorite reading spot back. In the meantime, I've had to make do with an electric heater right next to my favorite chair. I'm currently re-reading the Hannah Swensen mystery series by Joanne Fluke. Fun cozy mysteries about a cookie shop owner who keeps finding dead bodies. I've gotten several good recipes out of these books too. :D

Thanks for posting!Lora Younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05111307291568255534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7474271316278058173.post-82025418222176727742014-01-10T09:44:17.928-05:002014-01-10T09:44:17.928-05:00Hi Susan,

We have a fireplace now, but rarely use it. It doesn't get as cold here as in years past and I guess we've gotten out of the habit. Even with this cold snap, we didn't light a fire. My favorite place to read is in bed, under the covers.stitchesthrutimehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13592361290873081613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7474271316278058173.post-72514529410659499952014-01-10T08:18:22.960-05:002014-01-10T08:18:22.960-05:00Heidi, your writing spot sounds wonderful! Right before Christmas break I read my favorite novel of 2013: You Don't Know Me (Deep Haven series) by Susan May Warren, just loved it!
